CVCraft is a resume and biodata builder for Android, published by AppCraft Studio
(“we”). This policy explains what the app does with your information. It covers the
app distributed on Google Play under the package name com.cvcraft.
The short version: your resume is stored on your phone, not on our servers — we do not operate a server that receives it. The one exception is the optional AI features, which send your content to Google to be processed. That exception is important, so it has its own section below.
Everything you type into CVCraft — your name, contact details, photograph, education, employment history, projects, and for biodata documents your family, horoscope and personal details — is saved in the app’s own private storage on your device. It stays there until you delete the document or uninstall the app.
Read this before using the AI features. CVCraft’s AI features work by sending your content to Google’s Gemini API. CVCraft uses the free tier of that API. Under Google’s terms for the free tier, Google uses the content submitted to improve Google’s products and services, and human reviewers may read, annotate and process it. Google states that it disconnects this data from the developer’s account and API key before review.
If you would rather not have your details processed this way, simply do not use the AI features. Every other part of CVCraft — all templates, editing, arranging, and PDF export — works fully without them, and nothing you type leaves your device unless you tap one of the three actions below.
The three actions that send data to Google are:

These requests are made over HTTPS. Neither CVCraft nor Google returns the content to us, and CVCraft does not keep a copy of what was sent. Google’s handling of the data is governed by the Gemini API Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
CVCraft uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used — for example, how many people open it, which templates are popular, and how many finish and export a PDF. This is deliberately limited:
When you add a photograph, CVCraft uses the Android system photo picker. The app receives only the single image you choose; it has no access to the rest of your gallery and does not request photo or storage permissions. The image is resized and cropped on your device and stored inside the document. It is uploaded only if it happens to be part of a file you send through the resume import feature.
Exported PDFs are written to your device’s Downloads folder. When you tap Share, Android’s share sheet hands the file to whichever app you pick; what happens after that is governed by that app’s policy, not ours.
CVCraft asks for no permission at run time — nothing in the app produces an Android permission prompt. The permissions declared in the app package are:
INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — used by the AI
features and by analytics. Both are granted automatically and neither gives access
to anything on your device.WAKE_LOCK, install referrer and advertising-attribution permissions —
declared by Google's Firebase libraries, not used by any feature of this app.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE and WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, limited
to Android 9 and older — declared by a file-handling library the app depends on.
CVCraft does not use them: PDFs are written to the app's own private folder, and an
imported file is read through the handle the system file picker gives us. On
Android 10 and later they are not present at all.CVCraft does not use the Android advertising ID. The permission that
would allow it (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) arrived through
Google's analytics library and has been deliberately removed from the app. There are no
ads in CVCraft and no advertising profile is built.
The app requests no access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or photo library. Adding a photograph uses the Android system photo picker, which hands over only the one image you select.
CVCraft is a general-audience productivity app intended for people seeking work or preparing a marriage biodata. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
If this policy changes in a way that affects how your information is handled, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, note it in the app’s Play Store release notes.
